Current and All Time Loves

I enjoy switching up my make up now and again so I am about to tell you just what I have been loving to wear/ what are staples in my makeup bag.

1. I'll start with what goes under all my makeup. Since I have dry skin I need a really rich moisturizers and that is where First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream come in for the win. I cannot rave about this stuff enough. It is so stinking good and moisturizing. It gives my face life and makes it look and feel so soft. If you have dry skin you must look into this product!
Ultra Repair Cream- $30 at Sephora
2. My all time favorite under eye concealer is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Treatment Concealer. Oh it's just so good and gets the job done. It's super thin while still giving good coverage and it doesn't settle into fine lines like other under eye concealers tend to do. Go get you some!
Instant Age Rewind Concealer from Maybelline - $8.99 at Ulta
3. One of my favorite eyeshadow primers to use is the Urban Decay Primer Potion, just the original one. It works very well and makes my eyeshadow vibrant and stay in place, plus I think it neutralizes the color of my eyelids.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - $20 at Ulta
4. I have two very favorite eyeshadow palettes that I use every time I wear makeup the first one is another product from Urban Decay, The original naked palette. I'm sure everyone and their mother has heard of this palette. It is just plain great, enough said.
Urban Decay Naked Palatte - $54 at Ulta
5. And my second favorite is the Lorac Pro palette. It is equally as beautiful as the naked palette but in my opinion more versatile because of the equal amounts of matte and shimmer shades all in totally wearable colors. It is the perfect traveling palette, you can do easy day looks and sultry night looks with it.
Lorac Pro Palette - $42 at Ulta

6. This one is an old favorite, NYC sunny bronzer. I love this bronzer for my fair skin. It is a matte bronzer which I like, and it warms up my face and makes me not look dead! Another plus is that it's drugstore and super cheap!
NYC bronzer in sunny - $2.79 at CVS (that's crazy!)
7. My favorite blush to go to when my skin is looking a little dull and needs some life brought back to it is the Milani baked blush in Luminoso. It is a super pretty peachy color with a light golden sheen. I have to be careful not to be too heavy handed with this blush because it is quite pigmented and I am quite pale.
Milani baked blush in Luminoso - $8.49 at CVS
8. Last but not least is my go to lip color. I have really been experiment with my lip color lately but I always go back to the Revlon lip butter in pink truffle. It is a pinky brown neutral color that is so perfect for me. It is the best everyday lip color option that I have found.
Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle - $8.49 at Ulta
That's all folks!
Thanks for reading,
Emily

What I'm Wearing Today

So today is just your typical Wednesday for me math at 9 english at 11 so on and so forth. It has been getting chilly around here lately so I have been looking for more ways to be comfy but also cute and stylish. I think my outfit for today has accomplished both.
A big sweater, scarf, leggings, and boots combine nicely to walk around campus in. I know what you are thinking, "leggings as pants? gross, what is that girl thinking?". I said that to before I tried it if you have the legs to pull them off I say go for it but make sure your top or sweater in my case is long enough to cover at least part of your bum. By the way leggings as pants are quite popular at least where I go to school.
Where I got everything:
Sweater - I raided my dad's closet
Leggings - Wal-mart
Boots - Shoe Carnival
Scarf - Target
Ring - my grandmother's
Earrings - my mother's pearls

Also I have wearing a makeup look for the past few days that I am digging. Not to fussy but still nice looking.

Current Loves

I haven't done a current loves in quite some time. So without further ado my current loves for September.

1. This is my most obvious choice because it the number one thing I am addicted, obsessed, practically in love with and that would be Diet Coke

This stuff is legit crack to me. I know it isn't the healthiest but well frankly, like any druggy, I don't care.

2. The best invention of all time- The Keurig

Words can not describe how great this thing is in the mornings. It saves me trips and dollars from going to Starbucks every morning (even though I would love to do that). I don't have to waste coffee by making a pot I can just push a button and get a nice sized, single cup of coffee.

3. EOS lip balm.

These little babies or eggs as  call them save my lips. I use them all throughout the day. When winter comes I will probably have to stock up on more.

4. NYX Crimson Amulet Collection inspired by the movie Dark Shadows.

This palette has a nice range of colors and they are all pretty pigmented. I am not much on blush and lip palettes so that part of the collection never gets use, but if you are looking for a relatively cheap but nice array of colors and good quality eye shadows give this one a try.I got mine at Ulta but I couldn't find it on there website but I did find it on NYX's website.

Well that is it for this time I will be doing more Current Loves and more blog post in the very near future so stay tuned!

Current Loves!

Oh wow it has been forever since I posted one of these things. Without futher delay I will begin.

My first favorite is a book trilogy none other than the Maze Runner Trilogy. I loved the Hunger Games Trilogy as much as the next person but this trilogy has so much much more to it that just sucks you in. From the being you are left guessing as to how the main character of Thomas ends up in this place called the Glade with no memories and vague ideas of how the world works. It is an edge-of-the-seater all the way to the last sentence of the last book.

Whern I heard that China Glaze would be coming out with a line for the upcoming Hunger Games movie I got so extremely excited. Who wouldn't be, it combines to awesome things; nail polish and dystopian fiction. I have several of these polishes. FYI: I got mine at Sally's Beauty Supple for $3.50! The one I am currently wearing is Fast Track and it is a light taupey color with gloden shimmer and is absolutely gorgeous. I just took off Agro which is a metallic dark green that is amazing. Over all I am very pleased with the color selection because I like different colors but for someone who likes traditional more classic colors this collection is not for you.

Vanilla Cupcake form Yankee Candle. What can I say? This is my go to scent. I am a candle junkie so I have quite a few but this one is my absolute favorite. The smell? Well a vanilla cupcake.

Once Upon a Time is one of my new favorite shows on ABC. It is a really interesting twist on fairytales and basiclly has every single one every all jumbled together living in the same world. It is much to complicated of a plot for me to put in to word but trust me you must watch. Comes on Sunday night on ABC at 9/8 c.
This is the eye makeup tutorial I have been following for a few weeks now and I think it is so pretty and easy to do!

Ok, well that's it for now!

Current Loves

Well today is halloween, the last day of october and I'm finally getting around to post my current loves. This current loves is a hodge podge of randoms.

1. Pinterest!!!!! This site is my addiction. I could litereally spend hours on it (and I have). The whole idea of this site is to make different boards (sort of like pin boards) and pin pictures on to it.

2. My Urban Decay Naked Palette. I have been using this palette alot lately. It is so awesome, the colors are beautiful and the quality is great. The picture above does not do this palette justice. You can put together neutral day time looks all the way to a smokey night time look and everything else in between. You can buy this palette at Urban Decay.

3. Pumpkin things. Especially my pumpkin bread scented candle. I also love pumpkin in food, so this season is abviously one of my favorites for food.

4. Revlon ColorStay liquid foundation. I love this foundation, the coverage is so great and it makes my skin look fabulous and flawless which it most certainly is not. It is also long wearing. They have a very wide range of colors. You can buy this foundation at any drugstore.

5. Boot socks and boots. I love this look. I am all into boots and warmth this season so this is the perfect, cute combo. I got some boot socks at target and they come in to packs which is really nice and they are so warm and comfy. I also love the look with pattern tights underneath.

Current Loves: Blog Edition

Here is a list of blogs i've been loving here lately

Freaky Perfect is my cousin Amy's blog. The reason I like to read her blog is because she is a very good writer and has a way of putting words together. Plus I don't get to see her and her family very often so I when reading I get to know how they are doing.

Elle and Blair are my favorite youtube beauty "gurus" and I like their blog just at as much. Their blog is all things beauty and fashion related. Just like their youtube channels just in text form.

Boing Boing is a current happenings and news blog. It's kind of quirky and fun but I like to go to the website and just read random blogs if I'm bored.

College Fashion is about well, college fashion. I like this blog because as you know I am very into planning for everything and this blog is very helpful. But College Fashion isn't just college students they post about what fashion trend are in, shopping on a budget, etc.

And that's the blogs i read on a daily basis. Comment below and tell me your favorite blogs.

Current loves

Wow! It has been such a long time since i've posted something. It's just that i have been soooo busy. well lets just get down to it. Here is a list of some thing I have been particularly loving lately.

Maybeline Falsies mascara. This mascara runs around six dollars at any drugstore or supercenter type store.
I LOVE this mascara! it looks so good on, it makes your lashes appear to be thicker and fuller. It is hands down one of the best mascaras I have ever use between drugstore brands and high end brands.

L'Oreal Studio Magic Perfecting Base. This face primer goes for about thirteen dollars. Now I know your thinking thirteen dollars for that little thing (it doesn't really look very small but trust me it is). This stuff is worth every penny in my opinion. This primer can be used all over your face and gives just a smooth even canvas for your makeup and makes it last longer. It diminishes pores and hides blemishes pretty well.

Kerastase Oleo-Relax Serum. This serum goes for around forty dollars. It is expensive but my hair literally would look horrible without it. I have no clue how my hair looked good before i started using this product. I was first introduced to this product on my trip to Italy this summer when my hair became so frizzy none of the products i brought with me could tame it. So i bought this at a local salon in the town neighboring the one I was staying in.Kerastase Website

Yes i know so far all of the things on this post are beauty products, but what can I say,  love makeup and haircare products i'm a bit of a hoarder i guess because I have so many items that I don't even use but insist on keeping, but i promise i have other things on here to.

Vera Bradley Laptop Backpack in Sittin' in a Tree. This pattern amongst others in on sale for $74.99 at this page because it is from a couple seasons ago but the latest season's patterns are $99.00. These backpacks are a little bit pricy but oh so worth it. i got my backpack last year and carried it around all school year long. it never tore and it occasionally got dirty (duh) but you can just throw it in the washer and it is as good as new. This backpack distributes the weight on the back and shoulders so well that most of the time I don't even feel like i have a backpack on. The only thing about it is that my laptop doesn't exactly fit in the laptop compartment of the bag because it is on the larger side of a 15".

My new tumbler/mug I got from walmart. This cost me about ten dollars. I really like this tumbler because it is so easy for me to carry around and it doesn't leak around where the cup and top meet. I like to drink water through out the day and  can bring this anywhere with me and plus it is cute! this cup is made by Aladdin. ( took the picture of the tumbler myself because i couldn't find one on the internet)

Thanks for reading and comment below if you would like to tell what your current loves are.
